It is very important to understand your pet's needs around moving time. They do not understand all the hustle and bustle, packing and moving. It is wise to ease into the new home situation by taking the extra time with your pet and get them use to their new surroundings. Most times once the familiar furniture arrives in the new home, your pet's will settle in, because of the scent they are use to.
Sometimes is stressful times and situations, your dog or cat will leave their "deposits" around the new home or home you are currently moving from. It is best to be patient and not scold them, unless caught in the act. If you do not catch them in the middle of their "buisness" to teach them it's wrong, it is otherwise useless to reprimand them. Worse case scenerio, kennel train them while your moving is complete to avoid unsightly accidents in your home. Dogs will not urinate or defecate in areas where they sleep and eat. Plus the safety of their own kennel, with toys, blankets and treats will give them the protection they need; to feel safe and stress free during this trying time.
