Tips on selling your home

A few things to think about before you sell:
1. Are you ready? This may seem strange, but there are people that are not 100% ready to sell. This can hinder the selling chances of that property in many ways, especially the asking price. " I don;'t have to sell so i am holding out for ....." or " I just want to see what I can get for my home..."
2. Is your home/ property ready? What condition is your home in? You might have to declutter, do some fresh painting to spruce things up, remove old carpeting if in nasty condition, ect.
3. Viewings, showings. Be prepared to keep your home very clean for those unexpected last minute callers that want to view your property. Realtors always tey to give you time to be ready for a viewing, but sometimes it isn't always possible. often ut of town people will drop in unexpectantly and might want to see your home.
4. Patience. Depending on the market conditions, time of year, and all that particular information. BUT, typically in any condition the market is in, you should expect 3 months minimum to sell. It's hard to say when , exactly, your home will sell, buyers are becoming more involved in their purchases so this takes more time.
5. AsK a Realtor. Do not hesitate to call us for advise before you sell. A great Realtor will ask you the important questions and explain the steps involved to sell. If you are not ready to sell, do not hesitate to say so. This is your home, this is a sensitive and delicate matter to sell. Make sure you choose the right person and company to represent your needs.
