  • 14year old dies

    WHAT THE.....................

HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE TO GET DRIVERS TO PAY ATTENTION?        PEOPLE.......A CROSSWALK IS WHERE PEOPLE CROSS A STREET- AND SUPPOSE TO BE IN A SAFE MANNER.  IT DOESN'T SEEM THAT FLASHING LIGHTS AND WHITE PAINTED LINES ARE NOT ENOUGH.

I witnesses a woman trying to cross a busy road, at the same crosswalk a young 16 year old girl died by a speeding car, and with the ligths flashing and her waving her hat, many cars ignored her right to cross.

Just last night a 14 year girl died while crossing in a cross walk on Monday.

PAY ATTENTION!   and Slow the f...  down people.   Take the extra time to get where you have to go, or simply show up late.    The killing must stop.   Just think if that was someone in your family that this happened to.

from a concerned citizen, and someone that is concerned for my own life while crossing at any and all cross walks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • drivers

I can blog for hours about this topic, but I will not.

Simply put, if you are in control of a moving, heavy piece of machinery don;t you think you should be paying attention??!!

It is getting worse, and now there are commercials to point out the seriousness of this situation, and still people are non-compliant.
No signals when turning or changing lanes, not looking where you are going, and all those tedious things people do while trying to drive.

People, think about what you are doing!

  • SPRING has sprung!

You can smell it in the air, the time has changed, our days are getting longer, and the snow is melting quickly.       It's time for change , new homes, new cars and in some cases new life partners. ( good or bad situations).

I can help on the new home change, email or call me today, let's get started!

  • Tired of Bad service?

It seems to be an epidemic.     Bad service is on the rise in all north america.       Many contributing factors influence the decline in good quality service, but none I wish to report.    I will keep my personal thoughts to my self............for now :)

One thing I know for sure, if you want a pleasant, fun, experienced individual that knows what they are doing, kind of service for Real Estate- I am the person you need.       No bull, hassal free, and integrity is what I offer and who I am.    This is me, and I wear my heart on my sleeve.    I give you honest answers, good and the bad, but you know where I stand and what I will do to help you.

All the Best,    (and I will give you a FREE magnet too!) Cool

  • Jon Bon Jovi - COUNTRY!!!!!!!!

    What is up with this?

The problem with a rock band playing on country music stations and putting out a country album, is very sad.     This ties into the problem and sadness that ocurred with Sam The Record Man in Halifax, NS.     Since no one is purchasing CD's anymore, all except country music, bands and resorting to drastic moves like Bon Jovi  did!

People.............buy your music, stop downloading for FREE!!!!

    Denise.

  • Fall of Sam the Record Man!!!!!!!

I was worried this would happen,   and it did!!

Feb. 20, employees at Sam the Record Man, went to work and left soon after with a severance package after many years of service.     Sam's was around since I was a child, I remember going to the mall and running to Sam's to search the racks of records, tapes, and posters.      I was pleasantly pleased to see Halifax had a Sam's when I moved here 18 years ago.   This morning, Feb.21/ 07 as I was making my first cup of coffee, I heard on the radio that Sam The Record Man is done!     My heart sank and many past memories flooded my brain about going to Sam's.    Many scary memories entered.     We live in a world of everything disposable, cheap and cheap quality, public service has nose dived, everything spinning at a pace that we cannot keep up, middle class is dissolving, huge corporations are taking over the world and suffocating the little buisnesses, and soon we all will be buying everything in one store. ( which a lot of people do now).  Is poor quality items, conveniency  ruining our judgement of high quality items, just to save a buck or two?

Well, all that free downloading of music , I like to call non-support of musicians, really gives the tallented artists something to think about.  This tells and shows them what you actually think about their talent.     Next time you go to a concert, do not be surprised when the ticket prices double!  And certainly do not complain.  Because when you download a song for $1 just to save $20 for the CD, you will pay that and a lot more on concert tickets, DVD of the concerts and other paraphernalia of your "favourite" band or singer.
